Senior Therapists
Lyndsay Collard
M.ADS, BCBA
Lyndsay Collard is a co-owner and senior therapist at CoField Inc. She is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with 13 years of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism and a variety of special needs. Lyndsay is skilled in both writing and implementing individual programs, training therapists, and conducting assessments. Her creativity and tenacity while devolving behavioural strategies make her an exemplary leader. Her passion for the field is demonstrated in every area of her profession. Lyndsay has also previously worked as a faculty member at Fanshawe College in the Autism and Behavioural Science Program and completed her Masters Degree in Applied Disability Studies in 2015.
Alison Ditchfield
BCaBA, C.Y.W.
Alison is the co-owner and a senior therapist at CoField Inc. She sits on the Autism and Behavioral Sciences Program Advisory Committee at Fanshawe College. Alison has earned two university degrees and a diploma in Child and Youth Work, along with her BCaBA. Her 26 years in the social services field give her unparalleled experience and knowledge in working with families and teams. Her patience and willingness to collaborate make her an excellent supervisor and a professional in all areas of her field. Alison’s eagerness to creatively problem solve makes her a true asset to CoField’s success.
Clinical Supervisor
Dr. F. J. Barrera
C.Pysch, BCBA-D
Dr Barrera is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with 28 years of experience as the director of the SIB Trauma Unit High Risk Unit for severe behaviour disorders, and over 15 years of experience supervising Intensive Behavioural Intervention Teams. His passion for this field and ongoing mentorship have been paramount to our work in supporting children and families.
Instructor Therapists
CoField is lucky to work with exceptional Instructor Therapists (ITs) with a variety of backgrounds and education. CoField is happy to provide families with the names/contact information of therapists that may be a good fit for their child, but as all therapists are self-employed, availability cannot be guaranteed. All therapists practice with an up-to-date police check and are trained in Safe Management, and Certified in CPR and First Aid.
Krystal Lennox
B.A., Graduate Certificate in Autism/Behavioural Science
Krystal is an Instructor therapist that has worked with CoField for approximately 7 years. She is highly skilled at teaching children both in structured settings, as well as the natural environment, and excels at family coaching. Krystal’s high energy and love for the children she supports make her a valuable asset to CoField teams.
Kendra Wells
B.A., Graduate Certificate in Autism/Behavioural Science
Kendra is an instructor therapist and has been working with CoField for over 6 years. She has over 12 years of experience working with children and adults with special needs. Her background includes working with clients with a range of needs including autism, cerebral palsy, deaf, and blind. Kendra has a passion for working one-on-one with her clients and is inspired by the progress she sees in each one of them.
Patrick Coggins
B.A., Psychology
Patrick is an instructor therapist and has worked with Cofield for approximately 8 years. He is a highly skilled therapist, with over 15 years of experience as an instructor therapist, and 5 years of experience in the position of Senior Therapist, and has trained many therapists who have gained their certification in the Autism and Behaviour Science program through Fanshawe College. Patrick excels in one-to-one therapy, particularly in language acquisition (be it vocal or through an AAC device). Due to his years in the field, he also has a strong ability to adapt quickly to any behaviour issues that may arise.
Ciara Waters
E.C.E., Graduate Certificate in Autism/Behavioural Science, Registered Behaviour Technician (R.B.T.)
Ciara comes from an Early childhood Education background and has been with CoField Inc. for the past 6 years. She has her Autism and Behaviour Science Graduate Certificate and is RBT (Registered Behaviour Technician) certified via the BACB. Ciara is a strong and compassionate therapist with exceptional and effective problem-solving and behaviour management skills, even during a crisis. She demonstrates excellent communication skills which play into her ability to quickly build rapport with clients and their families.
Michelle Donald
B.A. Psychology, Graduate Certificate in Autism/Behavioural Science
Michelle has been working in the field since 2016, which has granted her a vast amount of experience to draw on in order to support each of her clients. She has worked with a range of ages (3–11-year-olds), behavioural challenges, and has worked in both center and home-based therapy. She has her BA in Psychology and her Autism and Behaviour Science Graduate Certificate. Michelle’s willingness to work with each client’s unique skill set makes her an asset to her teams. Her passion for her profession is demonstrated daily in her work ethic and ingenuity in session.
Serena Beemer
D.S.W. (in progress), Registered Behaviour Technician (R.B.T.)
Serena has been with CoField Inc. for 5 years and has been actively involved in respite and childcare since 2012. She is RBT (Registered Behaviour Technician) certified via the BACB and is currently working on her DSW (Developmental Support Worker) at Loyalist College. Serena has a calm and steady demeanor that makes her a strong ABA therapist. She has shown incredible growth in the past 4 years she’s been with CoField Inc. and has developed strong therapeutic relationships with her clients. Serena has been a constant support to the families she works with and consistently demonstrates compassion and flexibility to her clients’ changing needs.
Kassidy Redhead
E.C.E., Graduate Certificate in Autism/Behavioural Science
Kassidy is an enthusiastic therapist with 5 years of Early Childhood Education experience prior to completing her Autism and Behavioural Science Graduate Certificate from Fanshawe, and has been with CoField Inc. for nearly three years. Kassidy is able to quickly build rapport with her clients and enjoys being involved in each child’s unique learning process. She strives to teach meaningful and functional skill-building programs and is versatile in her approaches in order to help her clients succeed. Kassidy is currently enrolled in workshops to expand her specializations within ABA.
Nicole Vanderveen
Dimploma in Educational Assistant Special Needs Support
Nicole is the newest member to the CoField team. Nicole has a diploma in the Educational Assistant Program from Niagara college, and currently works as an EA with high needs students. She has a wealth of experience supporting clients in camps and in respite care. Nicole is highly committed to the work she does, and passionate about helping children reach their fullest potential. Nicole has a fantastic energy and enthusiasm for the field.
Sine Frederick
B.A. Psychology/Disability Studies, Graduate Certificate in Autism/Behavioural Science
Sine has worked with CoField for nearly two years. She graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in both psychology and disability studies, as well as attended Fanshawe College where she obtained her certificate of Autism and Behavioural sciences. More recently, she graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Master’s of Professional Education (concentration in ABA) and is gaining hours toward her BCBA certification. She enjoys working one-to-one with her clients but also in larger group support when needed. Seeing the progress each client makes brings a smile to her face.
Madison Demelo
B.A Psychology
CoField Inc. started with CoField as a placement student in the Autism and Behavioural Science program at Fanshawe College, and quickly became a valued member of the CoField Inc team on many of our teams. Madison is passionate and enthusiastic about the children she works with and her background as an Educational Assistant comes with hands-on experience.
Amanda Fediw
B.A. In psychology, Graduate Certificate in Autism/Behavioural Science
Amanda is new to Cofield, but has been working in the field of ABA providing 1:1 therapy for the past 2 years. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and went on to complete her post graduate certificate in Autism/ Behavioural Sciences. Amanda is a professional and creative person who is able to adapt quickly to her client's needs. Her sessions are engaging and fun, and encompass each child’s specific interests and learning styles. We are very lucky to have her as part of the CoField team.
Danielle Mulder
Respite Care Provider
Danielle is a respite care provider with close to a decade of experience working with children with ASD, Down Syndrome, and other mental and physical disabilities. Her background in outdoor and experiential education at Sir Sandford Fleming College allows her to engage her clients in a variety of settings, and to pivot easily to meet their individual needs and preferences. One of her specialties lies in the realm of aquatic instruction as a certified lifeguard and swimming instructor, who has spent her aquatics career working in the water 1-on-1 with children with ASD. She is currently working towards her certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician, and plans to complete her qualification this fall.
